    Qualifications

    Requirments, Skills and Qualifications:

    • High degree of business acumen, good decision making skills, strong problem solving abilities

    • Ability to multi-task projects and with multiple people
    • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
    • Must be able to read and comprehend both oral and written instructions
    • Ability to use computer/computer terminal to input data
    • Strong math and organizational skills
    • Have a basic theory of operations on: Powertrains, Hydraulics, Engines, HVAC, Electronics, Oilfield liquid/solid specialty equipment, Permanent and temporary pipelines, Spill containment, Steam boilers, Basic Facility Maintenance
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record
    • Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly.
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Forklift operation experience preferred

    Responsibilities

    Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

    • Support and collaborate with all operations and departments with purchasing of new inventory consistent with business needs and cost targets.
    • Supervise warehouse and counter employees
    • Evaluate suppliers
    • Prepare documentation for accounts payable
    • Utilize OE and Non – OE resources to identify items needed for internal repairs to prevent delays and downtime
    • Ensure inventory levels meet demand
    • Use software to monitor demand and produce reports
    • Assist service technicians and drivers in selecting items they need for repairs
    • Control of all expenses, include freight, supplies, and lift trucks. Be cognizant that we always get the most competitive price as well as quality
    • Notify the Service Department that ordered parts have been received
    • Ensure that received parts are charged out to the correct repair order or division
    • Examine incoming shipments, check in per packing slip, reject damaged items, and record damages or shortages
    • Maintain an efficient bin location system and ensure that parts are stocked correctly and promptly
    • Issue credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice is available so that the purchase and pricing can be verified
    • Return of all cores in a timely fashion and follow up for receipt of credit
    • Ensure that unused “foreign parts” are returned to vendor for credit
    • Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery or pickup
    • Keep current on new products and product updates
